It applies smoothly with a dewey finish but I personally found it a bit too sticky after application. The hydration is nice, but the tackiness wasn’t what I preferred. The color of this serum is a beautiful lilac purple. It goes on smoothly and definitely gives a glow, as you can see evidenced in my before and after photos. "This serum surprised me! It's more of a daytime primer with skincare ingredients and a bit of glow. I have oily skin and struggle to get the dewy fresh look without looking greasy or emphasizing texture or fine lines in an unflattering way. This product solves that! Skin feels hydrated but not oily and the product has a very fine mica in it that gives a natural glow without shimmer or glitter. Love this without makeup and lays beautifully under makeup. No scent that I can detect, which I prefer! I think this would work for many skin types for daytime use!"

Other serums tend to leave my face feeling a bit sticky throughout the day, but this did not - it dried down in about 20 minutes. However, make sure everything is blended into the skin, as some parts that were thicker dried flaky and white."
