Insider Look at Molly's Intimate Event at YSE Beauty's HQ

After the thrilling launch of YSE Beauty officially took place in April of this year, Molly and her team figured the fall season was the ideal time to host an intimate event at their headquarters based in Los Angeles, CA.  The founder invited a variety of editors, tastemakers and influencers in the beauty + lifestyle industry to come experience the World of YSE.  

Walking into the minimalist, yet elevated, offices of YSE Beauty, guests were greeted with lively music, bubbly to sip on and an opportunity to converse with the founder herself, Molly Sims.  Throughout the day, guests had the opportunity to receive facial treatments featuring lymphatic massages, followed by makeup touch-ups by Molly’s own personal beauty gurus – aesthetician Catherine Esposito and makeup artist, Joey Maalouf.

While guests sipped on rosé and noshed on light bites + sweet treats, Molly personally connected with her visitors, talking amongst women of all ages and life stages.  She answered questions about the brand, diving into her own personal story surrounding skin issues and why she felt so compelled to begin her own brand. 

For those who may not know, YSE Beauty is a passion project for Molly, first and foremost—and it was important that she communicate that to her guests.

She empathized with anyone experiencing skin issues, as her own struggles are what led to the brand’s impetus and development.

Molly shared the importance of making the entire line targeted to sensitive skin, yet still efficacious enough to produce real results. The products are dermatologist-tested and clinically proven to improve the appearance of dark spots, hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone.  

Aiming to bring back the joy of feeling beautiful in your own skin, the brand’s mission is to make women feel comfortable + beautiful bare-faced, so that nothing holds them back from the makeup-free moments in life –  like jumping into the ocean with your children, or going out to date night with your husband, without having to pack on the concealer.

Working to appeal to the fellow busy mothers and women alike, Molly understood how strenuous some skincare routines can be.  Instead, she wanted to focus on developing only the necessities, so her customers don’t feel overwhelmed or like time isn’t on their side to complete their skincare routines.

But the event wasn’t limited to only skincare conversations, as guests enjoyed plenty of real life chats, social media moments and experienced getting to know one another.   Guests left with specially-curated gift bags and truly glowing complexions.  It was a magical day that reminded everyone – attendees and brand team members alike – that the good things in life are never worth missing because of complexion concerns.
