The saying, time flies when you’re having fun has never felt more true for YSE Beauty and our special founder, Molly Sims. While yes, launching a business can be wildly stressful, the payoff is also immeasurable—and Molly’s been enjoying every moment of building both her skincare brand and its incredible community.  After 3 years of many formulations (and many cocktails), the brand finally launched in April of this year, and now just celebrated its 6-month anniversary.
To honor the special occasion, Molly hosted an intimate celebration at her residence with a candlelit dinner party under the stars. Opening up her Los Angeles home, Molly wined and dined with a noteworthy group of editors, tastemakers and influencers in the beauty and lifestyle industries.
While enjoying cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at the start of the evening, guests experimented with products, enjoyed photoshoot moments with life-size products and had the opportunity to mingle with Molly. Guests were then escorted to their tables to enjoy a decadent poolside dinner, after first listening to a heartfelt speech from Molly on the reason behind the brand's inception.Â
After the birth of her first child, she embarked on a very difficult skin journey for about 10 years, an array of struggles popped up – like cystic acne, melasma and hyperpigmentation.  After discovering her own secrets, she longed to create products that would help other women struggling with their skin, like she once did. And thus began, YSE Beauty.
During this candid speech, she opened up in greater length about her confidence struggles during this time, and how during this time, she realized that life is so much more than constantly hiding your skin – and inevitably hiding yourself because of it. She shared her experience, many laughs and listened to other women vocalize their own personal experiences with skin.
